System S2084D:
High Density Modular System
Switching and/or Distribution
High performance and expandable, the fourth
generation S2084D offers a tremendously flexible architecture for high
density 19" rack mounted switching configurations. A total of twenty
rear-facing module slots are available to install a growing number amplifier
or switching module types. Modules span DC-26GHz and include distribution
amplifiers, attenuators and a variety of switches.

These units also accept
the
C710 plug-in control CPU and remote interface modules. It can also
accept up to two of these modules to address various user and system
redundant control needs. All units include menu driven front panel
keypad control and display. Redundant hot-swap power supply versions
are available too, plus all units are CE marked for European import.
On special order, various
types of inner backplane configurations are used to deliver a total system
configuration by interconnecting the modules internally through the
backplane.
