    Detailed Description

Enhancing ATE systems and satellite monitoring, the System MS2102A is a compact high-performance modular switch multiplexer specifically designed for routing any coaxial signal within the DC-18GHz bandpass. Configurations are available from 1x10 to 1x100 (or dual 1x50), and custom configurations are a simple to accomplish. The 100 ports are normally open (reflective) when not routed. For a self-terminating version of this unit, please see Model  MS2103A.

Enjoy the known benefits of mechanical relay elements without worry of relay-life, or hassle of maintenance. Our proprietary high reliability relay element coupled with our elegant and sophisticated rack-mount design gives you the performance and maintainability you demand. Built-in coil current monitoring and individual relay actuation logs provide health and usage data for preventative maintenance planning. A relay element can be replaced while the unit is in use, and in about 1-2 minutes with just a screwdriver delivering low MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).

The 2RU rack mount unit provides user connectivity with SMA signal connectors at the rear of the unit. The front panel includes a color touchscreen display with user friendly menu driven operation to configure or control the unit locally. The display may be pass-code locked to prevent unintentional operation.

The unit is configured with a plug-in CPU (behind the hinged front panel) that includes an LXI 10/100/1G Ethernet port (with web browser) and a muli-serial port (RS-232C, RS-422A & RS-485). Control connections are at the rear panel. Self-monitoring hot-swap plug-in power supplies (behind the hinged front panel) are optional with an independent and redundant design. See the model number assignmen on our specification sheet. The unit has a single AC power input designed for any international AC power source.
