The SWM16X is a modular wideband (20-3000MHz) switching system that can be configured from 4x16, up to 16x16 in a single 4RU unit. The unit is available in Fan-OUT (distributive) and Fan-IN (combiner) versions. The unit is size is 4RU mainly due to the N-Type signal connectors and the included large 10.1" touchscreen (a similar 1RU sized 16x16 unit is available).
Field or factory configurable from a small 4x16 array (or as large as 16x16), it is designed to efficiently (and cost effectively) replace and automate a number of multicouplers and manual patch cord bays or switches.
The unit is available in a distributive Fan-OUT version (SWM16X) or a combining Fan-IN version (SWM16Xi). Optional increased frequency range is also available in C-Band (6GHz). Contact our technical staff can help configure the exact system for your specific application.

Move towards efficiency, reliability, and repeatability by eliminating the mess of multicouplers, manual patch bays and patch cords. The wideband SWM16X is a high performance solid-state modular switch array specifically designed for routing IF, P-Band, L-Band, and S-Band signals by spanning
20-3000MHz frequency range.
The SWM16X has a full Fan-OUT (distributive) design that can be configured from a reduced 4-in x 16-out configuration, to a fully expanded 16-in x 16-out layout. Expansion can be accomplished in the field by simply sliding additional quad-channel input modules. Other customized configurations can be accomplished by contacting the factory. The SWM16Xi unit has all the same features as the SWM16X, but it has the opposite signal direction/function. It is a signal combining Fan-IN unit. Both units are designed to be unity gain, but also provide programmable gain adjustment (+/-3dB),
Compact and feature rich, the 4RU rack mount unit features all I/O connectors at the rear of the unit. The standard unit includes N-Type female connectors, but other connectors are available (contact the factory). Adjacent to each N-Type input connector is an LED indicator that shows when an input port is actively connected to an output port.
The front panel includes a large 10.1" touchscreen display with our advanced Option-X features. For secure or critical locations, this screen can be passcode locked to prevent unintentional operation.
Our latest C3-Lite control CPU's are used in this unit. The SWM16X can be configured with one or two (full redundant) hot-swappable plug-in control CPU's. Each CPU includes an LXI 10/100 Ethernet port (with web browser), and a microSD memory slot for high security installations.
Self-monitoring hot-swap plug-in power supplies are standard with an independent and redundant design. The unit has independent dual AC power inputs designed for any international AC power source. A third supply can be added for redundant LNB powering if required (optional). The unit is also compatible with RouteWarePRO control software.

Two power cords are provided as the unit comes standard with redundant (and independent) power supplies. Care should be given to the Resource Disc as this has all documentation and instructions.
